Well,
Mommy has not been very good. I haven't written to you in almost 2 years!
So much has happened. The year you were born Daddy and I decided to postpone school and get a job at a company called Ferguson. He worked there through out the summer and fall and then decided that he would go back to school. When he and Grandpa Vick went up to SUU in Cedar City, to talk to someone about transferring, they found out that the program Daddy wanted to go into was no longer offered. Daddy came home and told Mommy what they had learned and we decided that we had to make a decision. Do we move the family up to Logan Utah, or do we decide that Daddy needs to change his degree? We decided that we needed to move. It was a tough decision to make because Aunt Nana was getting married and I know that you would be turning one soon and Ash three. I know that nobody would be able to see your first steps, or hear your first real words, and that they wouldn't be able to see you and Ashlynn very often.
On Jan. 12, 2007 we moved all of our things in a big Uhaul to Logan.
For the first week we lived in a hotel room. We were waiting for our little house to be finished so that we could move in.
That little house is where we celebrated your first birthday.
On your first birthday is when you took your first staggering steps. you wanted to get where you were going as fast as you could. your little feet couldn't keep up! Even before you could walk we knew you were a climber. you would crawl over to the dryer and pull yourself up into it. you thought it was so fun. We should have known then, the things you would try and get to and the things you would climb on.
You are such a talker. Even though you're not quite two there isn't any word you can't say. People at the stores and around town always ask how old you are because you sound so much older that you are. Right now as I'm writing, Daddy is going through your body parts with you. you know most of them but have a little trouble remembering forehead, ankle, and elbow. you are such a smart girl. We love you so much.
Love,
Mommy
